I figured that since Dy is chanting for an update that I should do a shout out just to let you all know that i'm still alive and kicking.
Since my last post which was in September a lot has been going on. I'm still growing a little baby. We had a great ultrasound back in November and found out that it's going to be a GIRL. The ultrasound showed that she's completely healthy and has no sign of a Cleft Lip. This is awesome news considering what we've been through with Kyle. We have decided that her name will be Caitlyn. DH and I are still arguing about the middle name(s) so for now all you get is the first.
Overall, the pregnancy is going pretty well. I'm already huge, or at least that's how it feels. To be honest though, i'm almost as big right now at 27 weeks as I was the day I delivered Kyle. I've only gained 4 lbs so far and am still sitting at -8 lbs from my prepregnancy weight, so it can't be that it's all just fat. I'm just hoping to gawd that she doesn't end up weighing like 12 lbs. That's so not gonna fly with me. Other than that, I think the morning sickness has finally subsided, but now all the other symptoms have hit. And of course, they all started with in about three days of each other. Isn't pregnancy just great?
On to other news... The boys are doing great. Tyler started his Karate class today and already loves it. The change in his behavior after just one class is amazing. He has total respect for his Master and what ever the Master say is fine by him. I really hope that this is the turning point in his behavior problems. I know that he doesn't like the way he acts, but needs help to change it and the kind of help he needs is beyond my abilities and level of knowledge. Kyle is also doing wonderful. He's totally obsessed with Thomas and Diego. It's too cute. He's also decided that the baby is going to be named Diego. Hopefully he'll forget about that by the time she makes her appearance.
Todd and I are doing well, that is when i'm not being a completely psycho pregnant woman. We just celebrated our 8 year dating anniversary on New Year's Eve and are looking forward to our sixth wedding anniversary on March 10. We finally for the first time ever got to wake up in our house on Christmas morning. It was wonderful and if I have any say in things we will being making that a tradition. Don't get me wrong, I love my inlaws, but staying in a small house with them, DH's two sisters, their husbands and one child, is not my idea of a Merry Christmas.
I think that's about all I know right now. We've just been uber busy with everything going on around here. It seems like with both of us working, we never have any chance to be together as a family, so blogging has been the last thing on my mind. But, I am going to try to do a better job of keeping up with this thing. So for now I leave you with a pic of my growing bump that was taken five weeks ago on my birthday. Hopefully we will have new belly pics soon.
